Well folks, I just ordered a new Apple Powerbook laptop computer. Hopefully this will allow me to get a little more work done and get caught up on things.

My old Mac G4 is getting a little behind the times and much of my major software needs upgraded too.

So, I also ordered the new Adobe Creative Suites 2 with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and more. This should be a powerful combination.

Hardest part will be moving from Mac OS 9 to OS 10. Hopefully some of my old software will work after the switch.

Specs for the new Powerbook: 1.67 ghz, 80 gb HD, 1 gb RAM, 8x DVD burner, and 15" monitor. See

My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors.
