I stumbled upon an online auction with a M2 for sale.  I'm in no way associated with this sale and as a native of MN, I don't have a clue where Russell, MN is located.

However, I would hate to see it go to unappreciative home or worse (scrap).  I hope someone buys it and restores it so I can admire it at a show some day.

It is listed as item 102 on the online auction titled:

Collector Tractors, Car, Truck, Russell, MN (ending April 29th).

Auction site is http://www.bid-2-buy.com or the link I originally posted.

Sorry, I'm not able to include a direct link to the item page.

Good luck - I hope someone picks it up and restores it.  I have two other projects in the shed right now and there's no room for an M2 (at the moment).

Try this link:

From the pictures, the tracks look pretty good, but there's quite a bit of stuff missing.  All the usual, plus the front bumper, winch, brush guard, lights, rear PTO output, swiveling pintle hitch, etc.  Still, with good tracks and if it runs?

Interesting radiator grille.

I watched the M-2 in the auction go out the door for 2300.00. Actually thought it would go a little higher but looks like someone got apretty good deal.Did anyone from this site get it I wonder? Hope so -then we'd know it was going to a good home!I would have liked to bid but WAAAY to far away for me!
Saw the serial number in the text---got me to thinking--any one know the serial number of the LAST MG-1 built?? I saw this was a 13JA--- was 13 the last run or did they go to 14---15 --etc.?
