I just joined the board and want to say hello.
I have to begin by saying I just bought a HG-68 yesterday and feel like a kid on Christmas morning.  I’m 57 years old and first drove a HG-68 when I was 4 or 5—and not just around the barn.  I disced and harrowed with one.  I started on the Cletrac because I wasn’t big enough to reach the pedals on the wheel tractors.
I have wanted one for years and finally found a good one at a reasonable price.
I am looking forward to having a lot of fun with the little guy, just driving it around because I don’t have any implements that it would be able to pull---I can use it to go out to the mail box Wink
I’m sure I will be back with a lot of questions, and maybe from time to time an answer or two.

Welcome abord Catskinner! Looks like a nice little HG you have there.

Bear with us as we grow - the more questions and more answers we get the better. Have fun!

My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors. Please help Support This Site and give your business exposure by buying a business card sized ad.
