Hi there
Yes the serial number should be on a bracket  attached to the left side of the front bulkhead/fuel tank. This bracket also mounts the speedometer. Mine still has the bracket, serial number plate and speedometer. I'll email you some photo's if you let me have your address.

You can get reprints of the MG-1 parts manual and user manual from Portrayal Press. Website www.portrayal.com

operators manual M2TRAC $24
parts book            TRAC-P  $39

Hope this helps.

Just had an idea Buck if the final drive is similar to my BD then you maybe able to remove the drive shaft quite easily which should allow you to tow in.  On the bd there is a small round access panel on the top left of the fianl drive casing, you can remove this with the tracks in place and the drive shaft can be pulled out by removing a circlip 'I think' then you insert an appropriate size bolt into threaded hole in the centre and the shaft should pull out fairly easily, if the MG has this it should help you get it roling again.   The clutches on cletrac are usualy easy to get at, on the bd you just remove a large cover on top of the clutch housing.  Good luck and keep us posted. Sam

I live in England, got interested in Cletrac's when I brought an Oliver BD in 2001, I now have an Oliver BD a Cletrac BDH and another BDH for parts and have just brought a 1919 model H. I also have a british built Track Marshall 90.  Always keen to hear from fellow collectors.
