I'm looking for some H, or W tin to use for a pattern. Any condition would be OK, as long as we can make a pattern from it. Found me a good tin knocker here, and he says he can make me a hood, and side panels for my H, but something to copy would be real nice. Can anyone help me out ? Thanks.

There's a Cletrac EG on e-bay that looks like someone adapted wheels and tires to it after their tracks wore out. Looks like who ever did it was pretty handy, and put quite a lot of time and thought into it. It caught my eye, thought some folks here might like to see it too. I haven't been on in awhile, and upon returning I see we have a couple new OC-46's on board. Cool ! Reason I'm here is Dad and I just went halvzies on this 59 OC-46. Thought We'd share it.
  Someone must have ditched it pretty hard on the right side because the bolts to the inside track frame trunnion brackets were all sheared off. The front idler shaft was bent, and the front of the track frame was also bent. We got her on the mends now.
  Anyone catch those OC-46 planetaries on e-bay ? Are they the Spot Turn Type ?

I recently picked up a 1944 BF Avery model A (looks identical to GG General, only red) with a two speed underdrive auxilliary transmission. This transmission looks to me like a factory option or a factory built  aftermarket option. It does not look home made at all. It does not show up as a factory option in any of the Avery or GG parts books that I have looked through. I have spoken with two local experts and they have said that this option was available, and between the two of them they had only ever seen two not counting mine. I have looked through many of the posts here, and none of the pictures of the trasco made trannys resemble mine. I would like to find some literature about these, and possibly a picture or two, so I can fix the shifting linkage on mine (which is missing). Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks,   Esev

I have noticed that Blake, and the Catskinner, and a couple others have a nice picture that shows up next to their posts every time they do one. I would like to do that. Can anyone help me with that ? Can you change it every once in a while ? Thanks,  Eric

Began the reserection of our latest crawler purchase. Pulled the head to find stuck pistons with much condensation. Looks like the motor is comin out next. She will run again
