 ....What kind of pump do I need to git the oil into these funny type fittings that are on these tractors, and where can I buy one ?

There is a Creek ,about 10 feet wide with an imbankment ,slanted a  ft high.  Had the tracter in low. Thought that the balance was centered, but the tracter didnt come down till the bank was under the seat.  Probably woudn't have gone over backward because the draw bar would have hit the bedrock first. I wasn't pulling anything at the time.

   I've been off line awhile.  Thought I would let ya all know how my Cletrac is working.. This tractor has a lot of power. but I am concerned that it is a little lite in weight for heavy work.. Stood it on end once. Scared the liveing daylights out of me.  It starts in an instant, and runs like a top... By the way, does anyone know where I can get a manual for my HG, 1948 ? 

I don't know for sure, But you might have to get the Babbit Machined off to fit the incerts.

I took the time to search Antique Tractor Museum on the internet, and there was no pictures of a Cletrac like this... They did have a Picture of a Tractor with crawler tracks on back similar to this, with wheels in front.  Called IRON HORSE...  What ever this Cletrac is, a museum might pay an outrageous price for it. 

   I really don't know what I have as far as Roller condition is,  However, the tractor won't be used much in winter, if at all..

  " Hmmmm "  now ya got me scratchin my head ?  Will grease work, or do I have to figure out how to use lube oil ?

 The Grease Fittings have a round head with a ball in the center.  I decided to change them for modern nipples. When I took the original Fitting to the Hardware Store they didn't have what I needed. They determined, and ordered METRIC Nipples.      Why does a tractor, made in this country that is as old as my Cletrac, Have Metric threads on the Fittings ?

I downloaded Photobucket,  Then downloaded the picture from my Album into Photobucket. Made the picture smaller, than clicked Save. After that, I could download the new picture from my album to this Forum..

 There is an OC 3 Pinion Gear on Ebay, it that is the same as an OC 4 ?

Should I pull this 30 weight oil out and go to the other type ?  I can use the 30 weight in my Van, or wheel tractor.. The Cletrac engine is in beautiful condition yet, and has a lot of power. 

Before I worked the tractor, I wanted to change the Oil.  The Filter that screws on is a Napa 1103.  I went to Napa, and they could only get an 1105.  It turns out to be the right Filter, but of a different make up.. Not knowing what Oil to use, I wanted straight No. 30. Wal*Mart and surrounding stores only have 10 W 30.  I did find it in General Dollar. but at 2.85 a Quart. 6 Quarts filled the tractor.  My son is haulling trees with it now.

I viewed the Cleveland Tractor history Album on the internet, and from what I can decipher, The Mod W fits your Tractor. Looks to me that 1920 was the last time that they made Cletracs with a steering wheel..

 has anyone got a junk 310 with usable track rollers for sale ?
