I just received this email asking for a restored MG1 to use in a film:

"My name is Rod Reding and I'm producing a documentary on tractors and agricultural tractor manufacturers during WWII. The Cletrac MG1 is one of the tractors we would like to include in the documentary.  We are located in Iowa, and are looking for a restored Cletrac MG1 in the Midwest to film.  I was wondering if you could help lead me in the right direction.

Many Thanks!

My gramps Howard van Driest was Experimental Engineer at Cletrac and Oliver Corporation. After the plant closed, he and my uncle started an excavating business, initially using Cletrac and Oliver Crawler tractors. Rod,

Did you locate anyone with a Cletrac MG-1?  I am not aware of a restored example in the mid-west.  I have one but it is in SC if you are interested.
