Title: 2300 hercules engine
Post by: marion on April 21, 2005, 01:22:39 PM
i have recently purchased a air compressor with a 2300 hercules engine
it is in need of an exhaust manifold. I was in hopes this was closely related enough to some of the engines oliver and cletrac used somebody may have an idea where one could be found.

thanks in advance marion

If I remember your 2300 is a 4 cylinder gas engine. No Oliver or Cletrac crawler used a Hercules 4 cylinder Hercules Overhead Valve Gas Engine.
Now there are some Go series engines around. I would think about asking on the Oliver Cockshutt form  for a manifold. Who all have you checked with? Have you talked with Jerry Biro?

Hello. I am on the West coast way up in northern California. There is a place in Oroville that carries the engine and parts. I will have to find their web page address. It is a military surplus.
Hope this helps.
