Well I finally got it moving today. After getting the motor in and all the linkages set up, I tried starting it up, with no success. somewhere between it running out of the machine and putting it into the crawler in accumulated water in the cylinders. I removed the head, cleaned everything up oiled the cylinder walls good and put it back together. It just fired right up. a little carb adjustments and timing adjustments to get it running smooth. I climed on and put it in gear left out the clutch and it stalled. after a few times of this I figured the left brakes were sticking. so I tried again, with alittle more throttle, and off we went. It was a great feeling. drove it about 15 feet to a level spot to check the trans and rear oil levels and then we'll be ready to play.
Thanks to everyone out there for all your help and advice. this is a great forum
