I am a longtime Oliver wheeled tractor owner and recently got my first Oliver crawler, a 1951 OC3. I have been lurking this and other crawler related web sites for a while so I had a pretty good idea what I was getting into.
I think that my crawler originaly came with an Anderson blade, it has several features that are identical to those pictured on Mike Anderson's web page. It has the Anderson hyd. tank in front of the radiator (although a newer Cross gear pump), the spool valve mounting pad (but no valve) on the right sheet metal next to the radiator, a bracket on the fender for the control handle and the "Anderson" tag on the lower right sheet metal.
The tag reads "HP 3677".
I can see areas of paint on the frame rails that were covered by brackets at one time, again, pretty much where the brackets are on Mike Anderson's photos.
I think that the "HP" would designate the model and the "3677" would be the serial #. Would this have been a dozer blade?
