Title: How do you determine the model number of a Cletrac
Post by: Tractor_dude on November 06, 2005, 07:34:48 PM
Hello,

I just purchased a piece of property which included a
Cletrac Tractor.  I am trying to determine which model
I have and the year of mfg. The tractor runs and
everything appears to be is in working condition.

Also, do they use 6v or 12v batteries?

What weight engine oil should I use?

Any help will be most appreciated.

Regards,

Give us a basic description and I'm sure someone can help. There should be a serial number plate in various locations depending on the model. Newer machines have the plate on the front of the firewall. Older ones may be on the side of the firewall, on the transmission cover or various other places. The HG (small crawler) has it either on the frame rail by your right foot, or on the bell housing.

Gas Engine tractors would be 6 volt, diesels 12 volt.

Good luck,
Blake
