Hi - I'm a newcomer to the world of Cletrac. I just purchased a 20K and am excited about what's in store for me. She fires up, but has problems like a bad cooling system. I'm confused about a lot of things, but maybe someone can tell me about the fenders/track covers that came with it (not installed). They are eight feet long and are designed to go from front to back of the tracks. They are curved downward at both ends. Are these original, fabricated or from some other tractor? I've looked at the tractors in the "photo album" section and see nothing like them.
The s/n on the engine is K 1-11984. On the frame is s/n K-4004. I was told it was a 1928 but it seems like it could be a little earlier.
Thanks for any help - Jack
It may be an orchard tractor - hence the long fenders. Look at the 30A pictures. I think there is one shown with those fenders.
I may be wrong about the orchard tractor. Perhaps someone else will know.
Welcome to the forum!!

Congratulations Jack, I gotta tell you that I am green with envy. I found one in North Carolina that I hope to buy soon. It is not in as good shape as yours sounds.

Thanks Blake and Ron for your responses to my posting. Blake - The orchard tractor on the web site is an AG-6, but the fenders on it look very much like the ones that came with my tractor. The one pictured is a 1947. I wonder if they had the same type back in 1928 or if mine are from a later tractor. I don't really like the look of them the way they cover up most of the tracks. I was thinking about removing the front panel and cutting them down to look like the usual fenders, but if they are historically significant, maybe I should leave them as is. What do you think? Ron - Yah, I'm pretty excited about my new "find". The more I look at the tractor, the more I realize how much of the original equipment is still there. Now it's just getting it all to work. I was staring at her and I suddenly realized I could see words through the rust on the hood. I could just make out "The Cleveland Tractor Co. - Cleveland Ohio". Too bad you don't live in Southern California. I know a new owner of a 20-K who could use some help. -Jack

Naw, that's not the one I mean. This was an old one with steering wheel with fenders that rounded in the back and front. I'll have to find it. Perhaps it's one of the pictures I have yet to upload.

If you find another orchard Cletrac I'd love to see it. Right now I'm in my "gather all the info I can" mode. Anyone else out there with 20K pictures or information, I'd love to see it. Thanks all - Jack
