I'm looking for steering clutch band parts for a OC-12
Thanks
They can be relined at any clutch/brake rebuilder .

The original lining is called Scandinavian 022. It's a soft woven lining. Landis Zimmerman sells some lining with copper wire in it. He sells lots of it and likes it, but I am afraid of small pieces of copper ending up in the oil pump and in all the bearings.
If your tractor has spot turn, you should put about 1 inch of harder lining on the ends of the bands, in addition to the regular lining, to make it steer better.

Are you sure that's copper? I've seen a lot of lining that has brass woven into it. I think the brass is considered to be good, but never heard of copper.
I think you're right Doug. Probably brass. I'm not 100% sure.

This might be the stuff here:

Scroll down to the last item called "High Strength" it's brass woven
It could be, I'll have to measure what I have. It doesn't say whether it is designed to run in oil or not. The lining I bought has a curve to it so it will more easily conform to the bands.
