Title: removing aux transmission?

i have a cletrac hg that has a aux transmission and i was wondering if i need to pull the motor to get the aux tranny out? any one have any experiance with these?  thanks,  tim. p.s i can take pics if i need to.  thanks,  tim

Depends on what aux trans you have. Is a Trasco, Model T conversion, or what? Photo would help.

I have a aux trans in my OC3 with one U joint in the drive shaft. I had to pull the engine to get it out. I was like pulling teeth, a very tight fit between the frame, iI had to remove the rear top bolts that hold the track supports just to get the needed room to move forward. See my pictures in an early post. For those who want to know, I have the engine rebuilt and back in place. May try to get it running in acouple days.
