Title: 1959 oc-46 steering clutch problem please help

can i get the left side steering clutches out with out taking the final dirive off. are there any short cuts. how hard is it to change the clutches on the left side? i have a manual but its the orginal on that came with the machine and it does not give that much info on removal.

if you have clutch type steering the final drive housings  will have to be removed,to remove the differential carriers and then take the whole unit out through the rear to replace the clutches. you need the shop manual to give the breakdown of this procedure . this  tractor had at least five different manuals. operators,parts, shop,loader,and technical service.
