Title: AG-6 versus BG
Post by: herkirk on April 13, 2006, 08:43:12 PM
Hello everyone!  Could someone tell me if there are any interchangeable parts between these two models?  The only info. I have if VERY old and only has the older AG with a 4 cylinder mentioned.  This was, of course, a completely different beast, but with the AG-6 did they just change the engine or what?  Could a blade from an AG-6 be fitted to a BG?  Thanks!

Well this may sound stupid but did you take any measurements of the two? Remember the AG 6 came about because of the war and the problem of Hercules making all OOC production for the war effort. Also remember both the Hercules  OOC and Continental F-226 are 226 cubic inch displacement. Now here is the funny part. What brand of blade do you have? I used to have some Heil instruction sheets that included part numbers for mounting the blades on different models. If that would help you send me a personal message.
