Because I don't have enough problems a friend decided I needed a EG3 42 that has been partially stripped, lacks engine/clutch etc. so I'm thinking about inserting a modern 4 cyl. GMC with truck transmission, but the left side track has a tilt/camber in at top to it, I know it will need at least one track roller changed on that side. Any thoughts? Do I have to disassemble the track system to effect a change in the track suspension or simply take the track springs loose and try to adjust them? Is this a common problem? If they are lightly sprung to begin with does that mean 500 lbs. of plow weight on front would be too great? Any thought on what the original engine and clutch assembly weighs? I'm going to measure up the GMC engine this weekend.
