I have a friend who's has an OC-46-3G sitting in his garage for the past 30 years.  He says it used to run.  He wants to give it to me and I know very little of tractors.  We're up here in Alaska.  How do I find someone who can help me figure out what it will take to get the tractor running?

Well I woud put a battery in it and see if it turns over. If is does I would stop and take the plugs out and squirt a little oil in each cylinder. If not I would un hook the front mounted hydraulic pump so you can turn the engine with a socket. If it does not turn over you  will need to soak the cylinders with something and everybody has a favorite  to use. Start there and get back with us. Also post a serial number and an engine number. They are all 3 cylinder Hercules, but there are differences in the engines from the start of production to the end of production. John
