Depending on soil conditions, a plow or disc that is the proprer match for a tractor can still load it to the point of stalling. The single bottom mounted plow on my Allis C, will work it right to the limit. Is a dozer blade on HG really that bad a thing, or is it that that some people just expect to much, and push it to hard? I have used the blade on My HG to clear brush, push logs, and some light grading. It dosent seem to be working the HG near as hard as the plow will on My Allis. Other than the speed issue, what problems can a blade cause if not abused? I have worked with many track vehicles, but I am new to Oliver ag. crawlers.
HG crawlers with blades can be broken if they are abused . The frames crack ,final drives break and the bell housings will crack. If the crawlers is used wisely they can be very handy to have around .
