Title: ARE AD OR BD DIESELS EXTREMELY RARE???
Post by: fightinfire on October 31, 2006, 09:39:11 PM
I currently have an 38 AG with Harwood dozer on it. It was orginally used to plow snow at Rockefeller Center in NYC. I have been searching all over for an AD or BD and have had no luck. I have always wanted a Cletrac Diesel for light dozer workand have never viewed or heard of one close to me on the East Coast. There are some on Ebay now and then, but they are either two far to haul an 8000 lb tractor or they are really rough.

My question is, if AD's were sold for almost 20 years, where were they shipped? Is it worth searching for one if pars for the engine are unavailable?? Has anyone had success installing a newer diesel in one of these tractors? If anyone knows of one nearby South Jersey please let me know. Thansk and Blake this is a great site, and I'm glad to see people still appreciate these old tractors!

BD Cletracs are a lot more common than AD's. You are in the best part of the country to find one .

I have a runing BD that is an extra that I would sell.  I need the room for an 80 Cletrac that I am finishing.  Sparky Duroe
