New member here!

Found this site by word of mouth! Great place! I have a Hercules ZXA engine I want to put back in service to generate electric for the house for back up! I dont know if my engine is the best choise for the job but I think it will work, If not ill still have a neat old engine!

I do have a 1971 JD-170 skidloader, thats another story.

Would like to know if any Celtrac crawers used the engine I have, it seems very small for heavy tractor.

NO; The only application for Cletrac was according to the literature if a model FD was ordered with a starting engine instead of standard electric starting, the Starting motor was a ZX and I don't know if it was a ZXA or ZXB.
