I am wnting something to move a little dirt clean up are horse pastures and I live on a side hill, so would this be OK or look for something else? Thanks for your time.[/url]
Hello, yes the little 0c4 would be fine for what you want to do but I would be somewhat concerned about the new noise that just developed as these things can get very time consuming and expensive! Good luck, Jim.
Thanks for the reply, I talked to the fellow that owns it today he thinks that it is the throw-out bearing. Everthing else seems to be pretty decent.
Here is the serial #1WR766 can I find the info to check the date of manufacture?
Oh the MODEL #OC-46-30 might help.
Can someone tell me the year of manufacture from the info provided above? Or tell me where I can find it? Thanks
Looks to me like 1959 will catch the year. OC-46 means it is a Factory built crawler loader unit. On the 30, are real sure it is a 30? Those numbers designate the center to center distance of the track. I didn't think there were any crawler loader that narrow. I will need to check, maybe it means something else on that model. John
I have not picked it up yet, next weekend. He has real good photos of the tag, it has model# oc-46-3 that I can see, no 30. Serial# 1wf-766
Thanks
The "O" that you see after the 3 is probably a G or D which designates gas or diesel . The 3 in front of it designates a 3 cylinder engine .

Well I went and picked up my fine tractor this last weekend, can you say screwed! I am almost 100% positive it has a main bearing rolled up in it. Oh let me tell you I am not happy, stupid on my part. The guy kept saying it sounded like a throwout bearing, not even close. I have been eliminating things like the clutch, flywheel rubbing, the starter was staying engaged, had it rebuilt, removed all the accesories from the front of the engine including the hydraulic pump no luck definatly internal and in the bottom end. Should have listened to you guys.
Now I am wondering. Is your serial number WF or WR There are also WD numbers but I need to check another place I can not find number as you stated. Also do you have a serial number tag for the engine?
I will get the numbers off the tags later this afternoon. It does have the engine tag on it. Is it very common for these to roll a main bearing? I will pul the pan tonight to make sure my suspicians are correct.
Never seen one spin a main .It is more likely a rod bearing or piston but anything is possible .
Walter
OK actual numbers off the tractor are, OC-46-3G, SN-1WR-766 The engine numbers are, GO-130, SN-3750480
I took the pan off tonight, not good! Looks like the oil pump took a crap! This thing is dryer than a pop corn fart, No oil on the bottom end pan was full but none on the rotating assembly. #1 and #2 rods are junk #3 not bad. Anyone have an engine they want to part with?
Is the crank beyond being turned .You can have the rods resized .
