Hi there

As far as I am aware the flag pole mount was only used by the USAAF during the war and the flag colour would normally be red so that aircraft moving around the base would be able to clearly see the vehicles. All USAAF vehicles were meant to carry red flags.

Hope this helps!! I have a colour photo somewhere showing a Cletrac with flad on a USAAF base over here in England if I can find it I will post it on the forum.

Do you have any parts for MG-1's as I am restoring one over here. I really need the flag pole mount and tube, light guards and light swivel mounts.
Regards
Paul

Thanks for the info 8)  The only parts that I have for sale are eight new track pads and seventy four track guides that are new with light surface rust. the track guides are two different types. Don't know if some are early or what.

Still not managed to find the photo. I will keep looking!!

I have plenty of track guides as I have two complete tracks and two borken ones. There is a guy over here who has NOS track pads, so I should be alright for them.

A pair of NOS track bands would be useful if you have any leads???

I also need compressor, generator all the usual bits that are missing. Three light swivel mounts would be great, even one would be good for a pattern. I have the lights just no mountings.

Regards

Paul

Sorry I haven't seen any Bands, I feel sure that somewhere there is alot of MG-1 parts and someone may not have a clue as to what they're for.Never hurts to dream Right? I missed three MG-1 several years ago, they were out west and I waited too long. When I called the man, he had cut them up for scrap. If you find the photo please post it,maybe I can get an idea of the size.I will keep an eye out for the items you need. I never know what I'll run across. I found four of the pads that I have in a barn that belongs to a friend of mine. Can you tell me how much the man over there sell the Nos pads for?I was asking ten dollars each for mine. I was also asking eighty dollars for the seventy four track guides. Can you shed any light on the price? Is that fair or too high?
