Title: OC3 Oil Fittings

Those fittings are for oil.  The rollers and front wheels use the same grade oil that is use in the transmission.  The weight is based on temp.

Read the Oil or grease pages on this site and above all read the Operators Manual for the HG/OC3.  Mike Shanley, Woodbury MN

They are called button head fitings.  You can get a complete setup from ZIMERMAN cletrac.  I ordered my adapter from john deere for 7/8 fitings.  McMaster Carr sells the oil lube gun.  But try Zimerman he has all the manuals to.  there are quite a few oiling spots.  phil
Title: Gear Oil Additive

I believe that I saw an additive in a TISCO catalog that negates residual EP products in brake linings.  It sounds like a solvent that breaks down the EP residuals.  I'll be out of town for a few days but I'll try to look the product up this friday and get back to those interested.

As Blake says, your best bet is a straight 50 SAE non-detergent oil.  Mike Shanley, Woodbury MN
