Title: first post here have OC4 and questions
Post by: steve(mi) on August 14, 2007, 09:04:58 PM
Hello to all. My dad passed on a few years back and left an OC-4. It hasn't run in about 7 years and the last time I had fuel pump issues. Does anyone know of a source or have a fuel pump for a gas OC-4? Also need to know where serial number is located so I can find the year of production. I know there is a plate for the engine but I assume that won't tell the crawler's serial number.

thanks

Just to clear the air. The early OC-4  had a four cylinder L head IXB Hercules engine. Then the 4 cylinder was replaced by a Hercules overhead valve 3 cylinder engine. I am guessing you have the 3 cylinder. Where are you in Michigan?

New mechanical pumps are available but rather expensive . Your cheapest way would be a low pressure  electric pump .
