While looking for a starter for my Ford flathead, I found this.

That would make a good replacement but it is only available in 12 volt .

I bought one of these starters for my HG68 that is powered by an 1XK3 Hercules.

The nos starter is a little pricy but the one from Automotive Electric Services is well worth the money & turns the Hercules over like there's no tomorrow. I'm very pleased w/ the starters performance and costs..

I ordered it on a Monday & UPS delivered it on Thursday.
