I have an old Cletrac metal sign that is orange and black and has a picture of what appears to be a model AG on it. The sign dates back to the 1940s and was given to me by my Grandmother. My Grandfather owned several different Cletrac models including a very early diesel model from the 1940s. I learned to run a model DD in the late 1950s when I was a young kid. This Cletrac had a dozer blade that I think was a Heil unit. What I would like to know, is if the metal sign is really worth anything, I don't want to sell it. The sign is about 18in. by 18in. and is in really nice shape. Thanks.
Tim,
A friend of mine, who's an auctioneer, had a Cletrac sign just like you describe. I think he sold it, but I don't know what he got for it. It's definitely worth something if you do decided to sell it.
Welcome to the forum!

Hi Tim,
Welcome to the forum. I've seen a few of those signs auctioned off and they usually go for a couple hundred dollars and up depending on condition.
