Title: Marvel Schebler Carb. TSX 403 Help
Post by: Orangeman on February 17, 2008, 07:51:41 PM
Does anyone hava a venturi for the MS TSX 403 that they would be willing to sell?  I am overhauling the carb for my HG and the venturi in this carb is missing.

How about vendors, I was thinking that VE Peterson might have a replacement. I need to get this carb back together so I can run the machine to tap a few maple trees.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts or help.  Orangeman

To get you going I would say that a venturi out of any TSX with that SAE venturi size would at least get you going. Let me do a little looking tomorrow if time permits.

Hello John: Thanks for the reply, I was thinking that the venturi would be sized according to the ID dimension of the carb throat per ASAE standards, which is consistent with your suggestion.

I will see if I can adapt a venturi out of a MS carb that would go on an Allis Chalmers B, C, and CA tractors.  I believe that they used a similar if not identical ID of the air throat and venturi on the MS carbs.

Take Care John! Orangeman... :D
