I have an unstyled model E Cletrac serial number 6A78. Only one of the Cletrac serial number references that I have seen list anything earlier than 1939.
What I would like to know is if this 6A78 is the last model E of the year 1935 and if it is the last unstyled model "E" made.

Hi Sparkymark,
I couldn't find anything in my reference material that has a serial number starting with 6A.
The info from Cletrac Sales Data Sheets I have on unstyled EG models from 1934 to 1942 had serial number ranges as follows:
1B00 - 1B946
2H000 - 3H168
5H000 - 5H604
The styled EG had serial number ranges:
1A00 - 5A330
I wish I could be more help. Maybe one of the other members will be able to help you.

My list says you are right - your E is the last listed for 1935. My E is serial number 1A80, which the list says is the first one of 1936. So, maybe yours and mine are consecutive.
The list I have has 1936 listed as 1936A (1A80-1A408) and 1936B (3A000-3A246). Does anyone know what this means?
BTW, my E 1A80 is unstyled.
