I have a client that wants a Cletrac M-2 scratchbuilt
for their scale model collection.
Would anyone have a set of scale drawings that I
could get a copy of to use for this project ??

I had a quick look through my books, but none have any scale drawings. You might be able to do something on the basis of known dimensions and various pictures. There are several good reference books with pictures available:
Standard Catalog of US Military Vehicles (1st by Thomas Berndt or 2nd edition by David Doyle)
High Speed Tractors: A Visual History of the US Army's Tracked Artillery Prime Movers by David Doyle
Parts Book for Cletrac MG-1 (reprint of the Ordnance Parts Manual)
Operator's Instruction Book Cletrac Model MG1 (reprint of the Ordnance Manual)
Maintenance Manual Cletrac Model MG1 (reprint of the Army Ordnance manual)
The manuals are available through Zimmerman's Oliver Cletrac or Boyce Equipment.
You might try asking on Steel Soldiers or g503.com. David Doyle posts on Steel Soldiers and he might have something in his archives that would help. If you do find drawings, let us know--it'd be neat to have. You could also try asking the USAF Museum in Dayton, OH, or the MVPA.
Where are you located? If someone nearby has one of these machines, you could take the measurements you need directly.

I am located in the Kansas City area, but could make a short
trip if needed to measure and photograph the M-2.
I checked with the Combat Air Museum in Topeka, but
no luck.

Drat. You're right in the middle of all of the machines I know about (Wisconsin, Texas, Ohio, Arizona)! I don't know if the SAC museum in Omaha, NE has a Cletrac on display. Redlineoryourmine is also located in Nebraska & might be able to help, otherwise the nearest one to you is in the USAF museum in Dayton, OH.

That would be great if he knew of any in the Midwest.
The client produces a line of q124th scale airplane kits
(P-40 and P-47) and has had customers ask him for the M-2.
I think he might also make it in 1/48 and 1/32.
