OK I need help once more, on my OC-3 the bearings on the drive sprocket was bad so when I tore it down I found that the pinion gear bearing was sloppy louse on the shaft, when I looked in my book, it showed that the bearings are on the pinion gear not on the shaft, was there a change? Or did someone change it? and how does the shaft from the differential come out? Any one have parts?
Also I went to the local tractor club meeting this week and the man that hosts the meeting has 2 Cletracks one 1921 and one 1929 I will try to get some pictures next time
ok My book is for an HG and I am working on a OC-3 , does any one have the bearing numbers? both the bull gear and the pinnion shaft? I can't read some of the numbers, If I can make a good ID I will post the new bearing numbers, and I am looking for the axel shaft (48") and a pinnion gear 15 tooth.
Sorry pvcarey canÃ,´t help you but I think I have the same problem with my OC3. Was it hard to tear it down and have you taken any photos?

no I havent taken any photos, I can if it will help. The tear down went ok, I broke 2 bolts and one was real tight just a lot of work. I got the last race out last night.
I dont know if I will need to change the stub shaft that the bull gear and drive sprocket ride on or not, it has some damage on the threaded part I hope that I can get by with what I have. The front wheel has some play in the bearings, all of the suport rollers need rebuilt Almost 1 inch of slop in each one, on the brite side when I get done the right side will be in good shape. Ron

Harvy, here are the bearing and race numbers for the timnken bearings. driven gear(bull) 362a and 368a inner, 26822 and 26885 for the outer. Pinion bearings inner 14138a and14276. Outer pinion 15112 and15245. You can get these bearings locally at any bearing house, but you might as well get the seal from Landis Zimmerman as he beat anyones prices that I could find in Portland. If you need the seal numbers, lst me know.I have both a oc3 and a oc46, quite similar in many ways. oc46 is twice as heavy though.Good luck. Tim
