Title: OC-3 battle scars
Post by: Gazer61 on June 26, 2009, 03:02:25 PM
Hi everyone
While removing the motor from The OC-3 that I bought  last fall I found some old battle scars. Both the motor mount part of   the bell-housing had been welded back on, and the ears ( where the bolt holes are )on both of the track frame supports had been welded back together. Luckily I have the spare parts to replace them but the one thing that I didnââ,¬â,,¢t find was the spacer (part # 117-027 in the parts book). I wonder if that is the reason that all of the other parts were broken. I will first ask if anyone has one of these parts, but if not Can someone give me the dimensions of that part, I assume that since that it is just a spacer a proper sized pipe will work.
thanks

If you mean the part that runs under the bell housing to the main spring supports ,you can use a threaded rod with nuts on the inside and outside .

I should of asked what guage oc3 you have . The previous reply is correct for a 68 . On a 42 you can bolt the supports to the frame and bellhousing and measure for the pipe length .
