Title: ddh rear axles

I realy need too find rear axles  can any body tell me where I can get them from they are for a ddh serl 3502657.as I can figer it is about a 1953  6cyc hercules:(:(

Do you mean the dead axle shaft that the track frames pivot on? Or what else do you mean? It might be easier to make those. Let us know what you mean.

hi blake the axles that I am referring too are the axles that the drive cogs attach to ie where the finnal drives are:(

From the serial number it is a 53. If you are talking about the drive axle from the differential to final drive pinion that part number from a 1940 parts book is 47656 and they are the same on both sides. That number may have changed for the newer models. The engine is a Hercules DRB 4 3/8 bore 5 1/4 strock. Drawbar horsepower 58. Weight tractor only 15500, Nebraska test max drawbar pull 14735 lbs.

the axles are the finnal drive axles the serial # was wrong that i gave you it is 3502311 and my mates is 2l4854 we have too tractors and about 2 and a half in bits .I will try too get a a photo of both and post it

Your 53 is still a 53! all 350 numbers are 53's.  The final drive axle that the sprocket and bull gear mount on is 47649 in the old book and again the same for both sides. The sprocket mounts on a tapered section of the shaft with a key and held by a washer and large nut.

robert you spot on .Iam on my last axle now and it wasnt  the best when i put it on. a stop gap measure too say the least but that who it is over here parts are fue and far between
