Post by: mikeinnh on August 12, 2009, 11:37:46 PM
Anyone out here know what company makes a good replacemant carb for the IXK-3 engine in an Hg? it has the tillotson yc-10a on it but the body is cracked inside at the float pin, must have frozen at one point, i have read people put zeniths on them, how do they run? what model is it? every one i have seen listed uses a different model number, so wasnt sure. is this my only choice seeiing that tilloston stuff is hard to find used in good shape.anyway, thanks
Mike

The best replacement would be a Marvel like were used on The later HG and Oc3 crawlers .You can probably find a used one . KIts and floats are available .
