Title: Finally - I own a 1944 Cletrac HG42!!!!
Post by: Blueclawz on October 27, 2009, 11:06:45 PM
Extremely happy to have found a nice HG42 for my tractor collection. Its in need of some repairs but runs strong and the track assembly has been overhauled. The left brake lever cracked out on the transmission so I will have to swap it out with a spare that came with the package.

I really need following so I can figure out this tractor.

- photos of the dash/guage assembly/battery tray/starter button setup
- tips for swapping out a transmission.
- source of good used parts - belt pulley, hood-maybe?

I am truly happy to have finally taken ownership of one of these neat little machines. I look forward to this winters refinishing.
