Looks funny without the Massey grill,  LOL.   Nice to hear from ya Matt,  looking forward to seeing the second girl in the pasture.

I went to take pics of my other hg today, but I forgot the camera....

I tried to get it running again but no dice. Swapped the new plug wires off my other hg and it still doesnt do anything. Has spark and gas.  Could use a new cap for the magneto Should run ....

I'll have to screw with it later I guess

Heres the other hg

I have no idea what year it is

I did get it running again.  Never did figure out why it just died like it did when I was trying to load it on the trailer. I guess its scared of trailers like the other HG is. Still took about a hour of messing with it to start and run. This one runs pretty good once its started, Seems to have a good amount of power, But the gearing sucks.......

Maybe this winter I'll cut up a bellhousing and stick my ford trans to it for some more gears

For your information the gearing was designed for farm field work not little bulldozer work. First gear for plowing, second to pullimplement, third to get to and from the field with. Remember these things were designed in the mid 1930's. All these blades, etc came 20 years later. Today I think a good skid loader would be more practical than an HG with a blade.

I know these things are for field work. Both my hg's are basically toys at best. Id just like to play in the dirt a little bit better is all.
I have 15 or so other tractors that I can use also.  My ford 641 will do lots more work then the lil hg will on its best day.
