A friend is trying to get an idea of how many people would buy a set of side panels for their tractor. He will be making them for AG, AG6, AD, E, BG, BD, DG, DD, and possibly the mighty FDE. The price should end up being around $400 to $500 depending on size and some other variables. Post your comments concerns and ideas here. Let me know on here if you would like a set so we can have a tennative count of how many we could sell right away. If there is enough interest this will happen. Tell your friends, foes, family, and neightbors! Post it here so we can get a count please.
Again this is in the works we just need the interest to get on with the show.

I would love a set, top and bottom for my EHG68...$400 sounds OK but $500 sounds like I would need to convince myself for a bit
Mine needs an 'out-y' louvre though, not an 'in-y'. Are both versions being made? And are they making top and bottom sections?
Sorry, I guess I should read that thread-title better, you said 'streamlined'...that means in-y louvres, right?
But the bottom halves should still fit my EHG.
Well I think he can set up the dies for either the louver toward the inside or outside. Most will be toward the outside, inside will most likely be special order. The inside louvers were only on the early streamlined tractors. I think he is going to make lowers too. The prices are not set in stone. The $500 will be for the D models. $400 area for the Es and As. It will be a little while before they are done, he still needs some measurements before he can order the material.

If I had money I would like to buy a set, will probably have to wait a few yrs. Going back to school...

Would that cost be for the full set of upper and lower covers? What about the hardware (latches)? I'd guess that nearly 100% of potential buyers would want to fasten them to their tractor, and the original hardware is likely missing along with the sheetmetal.
I can dig up the measurements for the Model A. I'll have a better idea if I will order a set in the Spring.
I believe its for a full set with the latches. I have all the samples he needs I just need to take them there. The guy making the dies wants to measure them himself. Thanks for the offer.
I would be interested in a set for an AG. Did anyone ever have these made or is interested to?
Nothing has ever materialized. It is still a dream of my friend's, so possibly sometime in the future
How many sets would need to be ordered to make it economical? If we could rally enough interest maybe we could still make it happen. I think between myself and some friends here we would need 6 or 7 sets for an AG. If we had them all made for AG 6's they could easily be shortened to fit earlier AG's. Just a thought. The problem we have locally is no one can stamp a long louvre in 16 gauge sheet metal. Please let me know what you your thoughts are.
This was a deal that my friend was trying to make happen. I was talking to a guy just the other day and it may be back in line. I'll have to talk to the guy in depth more this week hopefuly, but maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Does anyone know what the length difference is between the AG and AG6 upper engine side panels are? I believe it is two inches, but need to be sure. Jim
I would buy side panels for my BGS for $400-$500! Put me on the list.

Hello,
Does anyone know if there has been any progress with this?
No progress... :(
