Title: HG Shift Tower Question
Post by: Orangeman on February 28, 2010, 11:45:50 AM
Guys: I finally got around to tidying up the shifter on my HG, after I pulled the snap ring and removed the shifter I noticed the bottom of the shifter had a slight bend to it.  Is the shifter supposed to have a bend in it or is it supposed to be straight?

The Oliver HG Cletrac book is silent on this issue.   Maybe this unit had some rough treatment earlier in its life, not sure though because this is the first one I removed.  :(

Anyone moving snow with thier HG's and OC'3/4 and 46's?

Hope spring comes soon!

The shift lever should be straight.

Walter: Thank you for your reply. The shift tower is almost a duplicate on the one used in the Allis Chalmers B tractor which is straight as well. Orangeman
