Bob: Late OC- series B tractors had modified track assemlies and very wide pads. I remember them showing one in Columbus at the Growing O show in 1963. I don't know if I still have a picture of one or not.
I once knew of an HG-68 that was used by a small private ski club to pack the snow on the hill. The bolted 2x4s on each track pad were wide enough just clear the main tractor body. Behind this tractor they pulled a roller, made out of a tank with 2x4s bolted around it with the same spacing as the ones on the tracks. They ran this up and down the hill. I guess it worked pretty good.

Huh interesting. Could the Alpha track have been called this also?
