Title: IXB-3 hercules engine

I am rebuilding a hercules IXB-3 out of a cletrac HG 42. i'm using .030 over cast iron pistons but can't find the specs for piston clearance, any info would be appreciated.

my bok calls for  .0025-.003 Hope this helped.

That is the correct spec for that engine.   A good rule of thumb to use if you can't find a spec. is 0.001/in of bore.

BTW, end gap on the rings is 0.15-0.20 and clearance in the groove is 0.0015-.0025.
