Title: EHD-68 Clutch problems
Post by: matt23 on April 30, 2010, 12:41:46 AM
Tonight I was using my clectrac to clear some brush.  I shut it off and then later went to start it and it has no clutch.  I tried to readjust it and nothing helped.  Only way to move it is to start it in gear.  Any one know what this is and how hard and what cost is it to do a clutch?

Sounds like the linkage or fork broke inside the clutch compartment. It isn't a hard job to fix. Pull fuel tank, clutch cover and unbolt rag joints and the clutch is out. The fork will have to come out first, so you can inspect it for wear, or broken keway ect. I probably have the parts to fix it. Call or PM me and I'll help if I can.
