Title: Cletrac Parts - any ideas on which 30's 40's Models?
Post by: oliverchris on July 19, 2010, 03:23:51 PM
I just want these Cletrac parts to find a good home, so make me an offer if you need them for your resto project.
And please let me know if you can add any information on Cletrac models they fit.
I am listing them in a few places, for example:

Any idea what Model this head belongs to?
The hood is longer than on my Model Es - so it must be from a 6 cylinder gas or Diesel model??

Any idea of which Cletrac model this belongs to?
Thanks in advance folks.
I had these parts thrown-in when I saved a '41 General from a scrap dealer!
Title: Re: Cletrac Parts - some answers - AG6?

From what I can tell, the shifter will fit an E or A (Ray Zimmerman).
The sprocket is from an AG6 or AD and the head is probably a Continental F226 from an AG6?
Could be that the tin & tank comes from an AG6 too, therefore.

I'd call the hood and grill for an AG6, the hood is a couple inches longer, even than the AD. The seat would go on an A, or even a B. Head is an AG6 most likely too. The sprocket looks like the older style, so it will fit all A models.

Hope that helps,
Bob

The cylinder head looks to be a Continental, Could be a F226.
