Title: Cletrac H in Duroe sale
Post by: David Parfitt on July 29, 2010, 01:14:55 PM
The Cletrac Model H in the Sparky Duroe auction was described in the listing as serial no. 8881. However, there is an identical looking Model H coming up for sale in the Eckhoff auction in Missouri with serial no. 6361. It is easy to see how these two numbers could have been confused when reading the ID plate.

Can anyone confirm the true serial no. of the Model H in the Duroe sale? And is this the same tractor that is being sold in Missouri?

Many thanks

David

David, according to a mail or a post on a forum, Sparky had two H. One with no 1200 (tin radiator and shuld have had the old type of tracks) and one with no 8100 (cast iron radiator with nothing cast into the front.
Don't know if this will help you or not.
How many H were there in the sale?
Regards
Erik

It is listed as a W, it does not have Cletrac cast into the rad and frame looks straight cut(not sure hard to see on My iPhone). What makes you think it's the same tractor?

Hi Erik

Here are photos from the two sales (courtesy of Aumann Auctions and Polk & McGrew) - could they be the same tractor??

All the best
