Title: HERCULES IXK-3 4 CYL. GAS FRONT PULLEY
Post by: jrcyr on August 23, 2010, 01:15:33 PM
I'm in the process of rebuilding a hercules IXK-3 serial #1259321 4 cylinder gas motor.

I've just removed the dowel that goes through the front pulley and crank shaft.

Question: Does the pulley require heat to remove?

I would try some good penetrating oil first. Let it soak overnight. Mine was stubborn until I soaked it.
