Title: Terratrac
Post by: chrisvdv on January 23, 2011, 11:05:30 PM
Where do I look to find out what Terratrac models were available and find out which one I have? There is one near me I can get for peanuts, but it will be a big restore job. It has a dozer blade with quite upright cylinders compared to most HG set-ups.
It peaked my interest when I realized I could use the tracks and rear end for my HG OC3 addiction  ;D
But since someone here says they are rare, maybe I should take a closer look at my options before taking a torch to it!

Terratrac was bought out by Case Chris, so they would be your source for parts, etc. Information may be available from a site such as this one that is devoted to Case.

I believe Terratrac (American Tractor Company) was started by some engineers who left Cletrac.

you can find out what the model is by the serial number stamped on the top left side of the frame,on mine it's just at the rear of the engine.
I've got a GT-30.

That Terratrac yahoo group must either be sleepy or defunct as despite numerous emails to them they never wrote back to me. And without the password they are supposed to give you, you cannot post a message...WAKEY WAKEY!
