Title: oc 12 value
Post by: Doug Oliver on March 19, 2011, 06:55:42 AM
i located an unmolested oc 12 that has been on the same farm for years and has really nice tin. The machine has a bucket. Been sitting inside for most of its life. Also it is a functional running machine. What is fair market value for something like that.

It all depends on everything Doug. CONDITION is the main thing. Then, where is it located? (you didn't put your location in your profile). The base price would be scrap value (without having to cut it up into little pieces), and then add to that depending on condition, what the market is in its location, how bad you want it, how bad the owner wants to sell it, etc.

From what you say, it sounds like it's worth saving. You don't find too many that have been kept inside most of their life.

Oh, is it a loader or a dozer?

There was one on eBay a while back. I didn't see it end, but I think it went for close to $3k
