I have been trying to fit my hood and grill back onto my OC3 and have been having alot of trouble getting the holes to line up. Does the hood overlap the grill or does the grill overlap the hood? I did not take very close pictures of it before I took it off when I started my rebuild over a year ago. I have been trying to put the grill on first and then overlap the hood and that is were I think i may be going wrong.

The hood overlaps the grill. You may have to get a bolt in on one side loosely and then use an alignment tool (Phillips screwdriver) and put it in the holes on the other side to pry them into alignment.
If you loosen the bolts on the frame that hold the side-tins and/or the side radiator bolts you may get a better alignment...when they are all in...tighten them all up again.
Thanks for the tips on the hood and grill. Any other advise for getting the hood and the fuel tank seam to line up? does not want to pull down all the way for some reason.
Patients and ingenuity. Unfortunately over the years sheet metal can change shape and size. Depending on how finicky you want to be about fit and finish you may have to employ some drastic body work tricks like stretching and shrinking or even relocating some hardware. 50 or 60 year old sheet metal that spent it's life rattling and banging around in the hot summer heat and fridged winter temperatures will not fit like it did from the dealer showroom. Some pictures of your fit problem might be helpful for better suggestions.
I have had a few hoods that do not ever line up with the fuel tank crease...frustrating...
