Title: ware 3wi hyd cylinder packings
Post by: d.c.gregory on April 10, 2012, 12:03:27 AM
hello,
Do any of you guys have number or info on packing kits for ware 3wi loader cylinders? 1955?
mine seem to be bypassing somewhere under load, no visible leaks, but no power when trying to lift.
suggestions? sounds like it is bypassing somewhere?

d.c.

You might want to check your spool valves.  I had no down pressure on my OC3-42 Ware 3W loader until I replaced the spool valves.  Now I can lift the front off the ground with no problem.

One of the lift cylinders leaked after installing the Prince spool valve but after some use, the leaking has stopped.  No explanation offered.

Here's a link to that post  http://cletrac.org/forum2010/index.php?topic=3595.msg12790#msg12790

You should also get a 2000 PSI pressure gauge and check pump output instead of guessing  what the problem might be.

thanks for the ideas!

will get 2000 psi gauge and check pressure on pump first, what would ideal pressure be on pump?
thanks

Curt,

This is from an earlier post regarding the OC3 pump specs:
