Title: fixing up my HG-42- some lite work
Post by: MADJACK on May 09, 2012, 05:55:16 PM
I need to do the transmision berrings, so I figured I'd tear it all apart and fix 60 years of abuse, cracks, booger welds and okie rig mods...

here's a couple of examples,

also I think the morse magneto isn't stock from what I've read, probably why the frame was buchered there.

The Morse mag isn't factory. I had a parts HG with the rear of the frame cut away like that. Someone wanted to get the gear shift assembly out w/o pulling the axle off of the frame.
