Title: M5 3 inch tank destroyer
Post by: mykman on August 06, 2012, 12:04:23 PM
Hi All,

My name is Karoly Mesterhazy , and i`m a modeller.
I`m want to build an 1/35 replica of the M5 and i`m not found any
dimensional drawings from even the M2 nor the M5. Do you have such
thing ?
This the unit what i am want to build :

I found the picture here :

the first picture is my subject , the second is the M2 and the rest is the M5.

It seems my version is a little different than the M5 and its have a totally
different gun. Different muzzle brake , and the front part is different , no gas tanks in the fenders. Maybe it is a postwar version ? I have to say i`m not a
big expert in the Cletrac M1-M2 and it seems to me that you are. Could
anyone help me collecting the facts where it is different than the M5 ?
Or do anoneyou have any information about this unit ?

Cheers
Karoly
